Kuyt and Vaart miss first training

Dirk Kuyt and Raf van der Vaart haven’t joined the group for the first training session with Oranje. Van der Vaart didn’t play versus Munich last weekend due to a calf injury. Kuyt ended his massive victory over Derby with a toe injury. Welsey Sneijder trained separately from the group. He has slight groin problems. Rumors say the rest of the group didn’t want him to train with them because he was so full of himself :-) .

Arjen Robben in the meantime, has started training with the group at Real Madrid. It’s a safe bet to say that the former Chelsea man will be ready for a match in a couple of weeks.

Thanks you guys, that’s just great! But remember, this site is not me, it’s US… Without Goose keeping me sharp and ferenc with his Spanish connections and all the rest of you this wouldn’t work. It’s fun to do and it’s great that you enjoy this.

If you’re friends, Ferenc, would like to set this up for their fave national teams, I can try to arrange it for them… just let me know…

btw; Bruce; you asked me some time ago about tickets for the EC08..remember??

its almost impossible to get tickets.. for dutch people is via the KNVB, you need to be a member of the ‘ oranje fan club’ (wich i am since 1995), then you need to choose 2 games and then the KNVB decides by lottery which games you can visit… i actually didnt get any games for the WC06!! f shame!!

think you have a few options… internet (watch out for false tickets) or go to the EC and buy them on the black market..

think its a disgrace…60% of all tickets go to the KNVB sponsor friends..the rest cause to FIFA sponsons who are more concerned in making bussiness contacts then watch a game

good luck Bruce! haha.. i see if i can find you a website were you can buy tickets..anybody any ideas??

goose; tickets for euro 2008 sounds like tickets for the NFL Super Bowl. The one who get them are not real fans, but corporate types wanting to be “seen” but could not give two shits for the game itself.
