Kezza adores San Marco

Just before the big match, Mateja Kezman – striker of S&M – declared that Marco van Basten is his all time fave player. “When I was a kid, I adored him. I wanted to be him. The goals he made, sure, but he could also play football. I was 9 years old when the Dutch with Marco won the EC in Germany. I do remember bits and pieces of that, but I also followed him during his years with Milan.” Kezman thinks he can see the hand of San Marco at Oranje. “Sure, it’s that typical Dutch approach. We think however, that we can counter them, both defensively and offensively. We are not worried.”
Kezman would like to show his idol what he’s worth… By scoring goals. A lot of goals…

think Kezman is their main threat(?), im surprised that it looks like Marco is not gonna play Boula in defence to mark Kezman..

getting ready for the game now, was outside half an hour ago and almost all the people i saw were wearing orange, the pubs are already full, you can sence the anticipation here un Holland..

finished my 4 beer… starting to get nervous, i always have this, the nearer the game the less confident i get… its crazy!!

so how are you guys all feeling?? Confident??

I think Marco picked Ooijer for the job, coz Ooijer knows Kezza from his PSV days. Knows his running patterns and stuff. Bouhla is a pretty slow guy, so not smart against Kez, I guess. I am watching Rugby Union to calm myself down. The ozzies are giving England a beating . Other than that, I can’t wait for the game to commence…
