John Goossens joins Ajax 1
Just remember…you read his name here first. John Goossens. Left winger. Tremendous talent. Ajax’ coach Henk ten Cate added Goossens to the Ajax 1 squad for the preparation for the new season. This bloke was single-handedly (footedly) responsible for the Oranje Under 17 squad to reach the 3rd place at the WC… Watch that name…
In the meantime, Ajax is playing it tough (again) with Wesley Sneijder. Valencia upped their offer to 16 Mio Euros, but Ajax wants more. Much more! “We won’t give in. We want Wesley to stay. Simple as that,” said Martin van Geel. The little leader on midfield is an important figure in Ten Cate’s plans. He was good for 18 goals (!!) last season, apart from all the other midfielder’s stuff he did…
Sneijder is aware of Ajax’ stance and respects it. “But I won’t stay longer than one more season. I’m ready to make the move. Either this season or next.”
Sneijder is not a priority for Real Madrid. Chair person Calderon: “Sneijder is a good player. Interesting. But, he is one of many. Our priorities are not signing him for now. We first look at other options.”

never heared of this guy..but like the name!
as i said before; Sneijder will stay at Ajax at least till the end of this season, saw him on tv yesterday..what an arrogant little basterd he is… he talks like his the best thing since Jezus Christ and he always forgets that he hasnt really proven himself at international level (not in Oranje, not in the Champ. Leg. ), its great to score 18 goals as a midfielder but remember that were talking dutch competition here…
hes so pissed of that all his ‘friends’ are already abroad or have serious interest form foreign clubs (and all the EC21 players like Drenthe/Babel etc.)
im telling you, Sneijder needs a reality check, his mouth is too big for such a little man

Hehe goose, that reminds me of [insert random Dutch player name].

well i remember some real humble players:
vanVossen (ill never forget him crying cause he was homesick when he played in Turkey)
Eijkelkamp (maybe not a top player)
Luuk Nilis (my all time favo belgium player)
maybe Bergkamp??
players like vanEarle; vanTiggelen
but its getting harder and harder for these young guys to stay grounded..some of them are so f pathetic its not possible to cheer them on
too much money, not enough education, surrounded by ass lickers…its a deadly combination
