And that’s the last I am writing about it: at ESPN whem I watched Real play Lazio, the commentator said (when Ruud had scored his second):

“That is so typical Ruud van Nistelrooy. He makes the hardest thing in football - scoring - look like it’s easy…. The man scored 52 goals in only 63 matches! Can you imagine that ratio???”

And that says it all…

I had the same commentary, that comment was great (although I don’t really like those commentators normally, they’re not very enthusiastic!).

Johan would still like to remind you the following: “Scoring goals is easy, it is not a skill you need in soccer, the skill in soccer is the ability to use both feet to kick the ball. Ruud still needs to work on these skills, along with his ability to pass the ball, and be able to kick the ball from 20 meters out and curve it into the net… once he can do that he will then be a mediocre player”

Hahaha :-)…yeah… A team with only Cruyffies will never win a cup, that’s for sure. You need the breakers like Neeskens, tacklers like Krol, killersl like Dick van Dijk or Ruud Geels and work-horses like Gerry Muhren. JC should know that…

Jan. I heard the same commentary from EntertainmentSPortsNetwork.
As far as all the critisism of Ruud’s so called lack of ability let me remind everyone that the object of the game is to kick the ball into the net. Ruud happens to do this very well, better them almost every player on the planet earth.
