Sorry to be a ‘mieren neuker’ (Dutch for ‘ant fucker’ or anal-retentive bastard), but Jan you keep mis-spelling the words ‘prize’ and ‘prizes’ (you wrote ‘prices’). Just thought I’d let you know.
Otherwise, the blog is great! Keep up the terrific work!

No worries Goose!
Apparently I am not that much of a mierenneuker… I can’t even spell the word properly! ;-P

Hahaha, nice catch ClockworkOrange. I had noticed that confusion between price and prize a few times already, and as an English teacher I always meant to correct it, but you beat me to it. I guess I was reluctant to look like a “mierenneuker”.

Gee…that stirred up some debate :-). Sorry guys. In Dutch, the word for prize and price is similar: prijs. So I just “translated” prize like “prijs” and that became “price”…
Do I make more of these types of silly mistakes? I’d like to know…

I haven’t noticed too many mistakes actually, that was the only one that stuck out in my mind, so don’t worry Jan (and I noticed a few other people make the same mistake, so it’s not just you either ;). In fact, I’d say your English is really quite good.
