Italian clubs like Orange

Urby Emanuelson is being courted by AS Roma. “It’s a great club and I would really love to play for them,” said the talented Ajax player. AS Roma already offered 8 million euros for the Dutch international last summer, but got a firm “no!” from Ajax director Martin van Geel. “We don’t want to sell anymore players after the departure of Perez, Sneijder and Babel.”
But Roma is persistent and will scout Emanuelson again this Wednesday when Oranje plays Slovenia.

Inter Milan will also be on the stands, but for Rafael van der Vaart. Van der Vaart is currently in negotiation with HSV to renew his contract, so HSV can ask a reasonable price for the talented midfielder in a year’s time. It common knowledge that Zlatan Ibramhimovic has repeatedly asked his management to sign the former Ajax star.

bravo ajax. i hope they will sell emmanuelson and huntelaar too (it would be great in the winter break). and after them – as soon as possible – heitinga, maduro, stekelenburg, van der wiel, vermaalen, ogararu, suarez… and why not davids? he’s a little bit old but still good. and most importantly all these transfers would make lots of money for the club. at ajax money is the only one important thing. nothing else. results? glory? traditions? obviously they dont give a s*** to all of them.

funny to see that ibra wants vdv. but i think he will move to spain. it’s logical, valencia would be a good team for him and he would do great job for them.

think our friend Jan made a little joke there on Zlatan..its well known they werent best of mates

latest on Oranje;

Nigel de Jong has left Oranje cause of an injury (boehoehoe) and is replaced by Orlando Engelaar…. useless players both…hope we wont see Engelaar play

prob. line up:

Stekelenburg
Jaliens
Ooijer
Heitinga
Bouma
Sneijder
deZeeuw
Seedorf
vanPersie
Huntelaar
vanderVaart

Intersting to see how Huntelaar does…as with the goalie we have to think about the future too…my guess is vdSar will quit after EC08 and i wonder if vanNistelrooij could strech it till the WC10.

what do you guys think, will Ruud quit after EC08?

still hope vdVaart stays at Hsv till the end of the season, they have always been my fav. german team and would hate to loose him

grtz

I expect van Nistelrooy to play to 2010. Maybe, maybe van der Sar as well but thats pretty doubtful.

I think babel will probably be playing left wing, with persie as centre, bcuz babel was supposed to play against romania.

No, I wasn’t sarcastic on Zlatan and Raf. True, they did get into lots of fights at Ajax, but they both grew up and Zlatan definetly asked Inter to sign Rafael. I posted that news weeks and weeks ago already.

As for Oranje’s line up:

Marco will play Robin as center striker and keep Hunter as pinchhitter.
Vaart will play from the right, Babel left. Zeeuw, Seedorf and Sneijder on midfield altough yesterday Marco even hinted at playing De Zeeuw as sweeper!

was a nice little incident on Oranjes training yesterday…during a practice game Ooijer and Huntelaar did some pushing and fighting for the ball and then Ooijer made an awful tackle form behind on Huntelaar….Marco was not amused and made Ooijer do some running

looks like everybody is sharp for tonights game, i always like it when things get rough on training, it means theirs some tension and tension is good for dutch teams and for Oranje

surprises me about Zlatan and vdVaart… do i have to make an other assesment on Zlatan?? is he really grown up??

@Robben; Babel is not gonna start
