Huntelaar considers leaving Real Madrid

Hunter and C Ronaldo…
Technical director Jorge Valdano had a bit of a chat with Klaas Jan Huntelaar yesterday, about his status at Madrid. The former Madrid player advised the Hunter to take the Stuttgart offer and leave. Oosterveer, Huntelaar’s manager, declined any comment, but did confirm “Klaas Jan is pondering his decision”.
The Oranje striker got told that he’s the fourth striker, after C Ronaldo, Benzema and Raul. Ronaldo is chairman Perez’ fave, Zidane was instrumental in signing Benzema and Raul is an icon within Real and the boss in the dressing room.
And then there’s the injured Van Nistelrooy and Argentine Higuain and Huntelaar. The latter’s management expect more offers to come in other than from Vfb Stuttgart, once he informs the world he’s open to a deal. Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Manchester United are expected to grab their calculators.
Klaas Jan doesn’t want to speculate and told the press to want to make up his mind. He’ll definitely go on trainings camp with Real Madrid first.
It does make sense that Huntelaar, if he leaves, will claim more security at his new club in terms of strategy and tactics. In that area, Real Madrid was chaotic, to put in mildly.
His management also emphasizes that Huntelaar holds the key. Hoe still has a deal at Madrid and entertains the option to stay in Madrid and fight for his spot. The stats are in Hunter’s favor. Wherever he played, he always scored. Even without real wingers, like at Ajax recently and at Madrid, Huntelaar always finds the net.
Real Madrid recently announced to go for 4-4-2. It might be a consideration for Hunter to stay and go for his chances, but he’ll have to compete with the chairman’s signing, a protege of an ex-Galactico and Mr Real. Not an easy task.
Add to that Huntelaar’s ambition to be Oranje’s first striker and a move to another club seems to be the most attractive option.

And you get to stop the team bus to go shopping for fake Rolex’es in China as well. Just ask Sno and Drenthe.

i would love two but living in canada i cannot possibly be knowledgable enough for such an important job
plus, i cnot spel verry gud

srry wrong “two” and that btw was aimed at jan

Trainer Manuel Pellegrini wants Sneijder to stay at Madrid. He even denied that all Dutchies need to leave: “Sneijder is a wonderful player who fits this Real Madrid perfectly. I’m going to convince him to stay here. There’s been a lot of talk that all Dutch players need to go but I’m not convinced. Certainly not in Sneijder’s case.”

Frank Arneses is named Technical Director at Chelsea. The former Ajax, PSV and Danish national team star was head youth development and scouting before. He moved to Chelsea from Tottenham Hotspur some years back.

It’s ArneseN by the way
.
funny detail, Arnesen and Soren Lerby were/are good buddies. The latter is Raf van der Vaart’s manager….

I think pellegrini wants only sneijder , may be robben and ruud from the dutch players ,
the others ( drenthe , hunter and vdv ) have to leave !
I dunno why there is no official offer from a big club to vdv till now , they will have to pay only 10- 13 millions to get a world class player !

i think chelsea will take RVV.coz of the new technical director.
if bayren can hire some cash+znijder+roban for ribery would be great for them.ofcourse the looser will be RM.i pray for that exchange.i recokon under vaan gaal the three (brapheid, znijder,Roban) will become lethal weapons for us at the time of WC2010.OOOOOOOOOOhhhhh god give somemore idiotic brain for Perez……………………..

Mario: i agree that the eredivisie gave fantastic strikers to the world but you wrote about the past when dutch teams were competitive on the international level. after the fall of ajax and especially psv’s cl semi final in 2005 this is no more the case. but even hiddink’s psv had no great strikers, they had a great midfield (with cocu, van bommel). in the last 10 years the only great – world class – striker who grew up there is zlatan ibrahimovic. i would like to see a great eredivisie but unfortunately it’s no more interesting…

Stuttgart? Wtf is this a joke? If Huntelaar moves to Stuugart, he just down graded himself right there. I have a question, how come Dutch fans are so fascinating about German clubs? I can’t help but noticed how much the Dutch fans giving praise to the Bundesliga. Is it a cultural thing? between Dutch and German? Because the Bundesliga is pretty crappy compares to other competitions..

^Because it isn’t crappy? Really why do you think it is? Because you don’t like Germans?
They always had good results in Europe, and the league is very competitive. Also almost all German national team’s members play in the Bundesliga, and Germany is one of the strongest teams in the world. It’s easily much better than the Eredivisie, and currently I rate it at least as high as the Serie A, maybe it’s even better.
The fact that they don’t spend insane amounts of money like the Premier League or La Liga doesn’t make it crappy.

Pellegrini said he wants Sneijder to stay and also has Ruud in his plans.

@Tomek i am diehard fan of dutch.even though i can say bundesliga has more standard than Eredivise,no doubt about that. But it is slighlty less than that of Serie-A.we have to accept that.
our main issue is about hunter.Hunter is natural predator in the box only one problem is he is bit lazy sometimes thats it.we all want to see him Ac milan,Inter,Juvents,Bayern,Manu,Arsenal,Liverpool,Chelsea,Barca,RM kind of teams not in the line of VFB stu.We need him badly in WC2010 and personlly i belive this guy can do much more than that of Nestel and Kluivert .(our greatest strikers in the last generetions,—- both of them cried and left the feild, RUUDWC2006 and kluvert 1998WC. Ruud incident was more heart breaking in the aspect of player but kluivert case was different the total team cried and left.)Hunter has the champion mentality and talent.
so we need him in a top club.

@Tiju Yup I went a bit offtopic here, I was just annoyed at that very ignorant comment of Oranje.
Though I think the Hunt is too good for Stuttgart as well, there aren’t many clubs that need a pure striker (who doesn’t contribute anything else really)
Man U just signed Owen, who is basically the same. Liverpool has Torres, Arsenal could use him though they rarely spend big money, and they just signed Arshavin. Chelsea could use him a lot, but they don’t have any interest as of yet.
Barca don’t need him, Milan is goin’ for Fabiano, Juve could use him though again no interest, Inter doesn’t need him.
That leaves the Bundesliga. Bayern doesn’t need him, so yeah, clubs like Stuttgart are what’s left.

as rome seem to be interested in huntelaar but they don’t have too much money. it would be a nice choice, better than stuttgart.

@Oranje_for_life ; Bundesliga crap?? its a great league, great teams and lots of people in the stadiums…its not as good as the EPL or the Spanish league but i rate it as high as the Serie A at the moment, maybe even higher…
‘we’ dutch prob. like the Bundesliga cause we can see it on tv every week (Sportschau), its NOT cause we like the germans that much!! haha

I have been watching the Bundesliga quite regularly this year and as I said in a prior post, I am amazed at the speed and skill of the play there, not just BM but Schalke,HSV and Stuttgart and all teams play so much different to how the national team plays. Its great to watch except when Engelaar played

orange_for_life, you have no idea what youre talking about. Bundesliga is a great competition and even though clubs dont splash money like spanish or english clubs they are still very wealthy. Stuttgart are in the knock out for champions league – so they should go through. would be great for huntelaar in my opinion. Then Playing against teams like dortmund, schalke, hamburg, bremen and of course bayern week in, week out would be great. Just look at how the bundesliga ended last season, the top 3 teams could still win it on the last day? only a few points between the top 6 or so teams. no other competition in europe was so even. And two german clubs were in the semis for uefa cup, and neither of those finished in the top 4 of the bundesliga – just shows how strong it is.
maybe actually tune into some games from a league before u start judging it.

Hurm, I guess so.. You guys are probably right about the Bundesliga, that I don’t follow it at all. Maybe simply because I don’t see much great signings. One other thing is that I always regarded Bayern Munich to be the best club in the Bundesliga, and right, they have a squad full of talented players, many from the German national team. I guess the images still lingered on when Barca raped Bayern Munich… what was the score i forgot. That match probably altered my perception on the Bundesliga as a whole. Bayern lost to Barca 6-1, a result from a best club from the Bundesliga? I wondered… But hey! If you guys said so, i’m willing to check it out more often

Thank you Peter.
Like I said before; in all honesty, I don’t follow the Bundesliga at all
. However as i recall, the German clubs do not even pose a threat in the Champions League. It was 4 English teams and 2 Spanish teams in the Quarter final.. and was thought to be and all English final again.
I agree with you that clubs certainly don’t have to splash out money like what Real Madrid is doing now, but leagues that invest in talented players tend to be more interesting to follow. Does the Bundesliga invest in talented players as much as the La Liga or the PL? The answer is no, hence it’s less interesting and less competitive.

I had similar views on the Bundesliga until they started showing “live” matches and highlights here and oh boy did it open my eyes. Really what stood out most of all is how little the teams resemble the style of play of the national team. Spain tries to plays like Barca, Italy like Juventus, England like Liverpool, Every Dutch team tries to play like Holland etc etc. But hey, watch these Bundesliga teams with their Brazilian/Turks/East European/Italians/Dutchies and the occasional German and you’ll see an amazing style of play. As Goose said – much more interesting than Serie A.

lol I’ve been following the Serie A for a while now and uhh.. I’m not gonna disagree. Look at the stadiums man! They’re almost always fcking half empty, except for the Inter or Ac Milan games. That says alot about Italian football as a whole..

So, there’s no official news about where he will move. So far, he will stay at Madrid. MU have said that there will be no new players to come. They have enough players to challange the title again.
