Hot Transfer News: Juve wants Raf!

June 14th, 2007 | By: Jan | 3 Comments »

Juventus has declared that they want Rafael van der Vaar to shepherd them into a new bright future in the Serie A.

Pavel Nedved, the Juve superstar, said: “We idolize Rafael here at Juventus, we feel he is the man to lead us into our future. He has the vision, the skills, the intelligence… We hope he’ll come soon!” Juventus offered HSV Hamburg 10 Mio Euros for the former Ajax star. HSV balked at that amount. The Huub Stevens coached club wants to talk with the Champion of the Serie B only if they double their offer.

Van der Vaart is honoured: “It’s great that such a huge club with that history and tradition want me. That’s very flattering. We’ll see what happens.” When asked if Juve was the dream club for Raf, he said… ” Well, it’s not. Every one knows that my biggest dream is to one day wear the white of Real Madrid.”

i just read juventus’ interest in vdv on eurosport too. And i think that would be a great move for him.

Hes not learning anything new in hamburg, nor will he in the future. he is and will be their best player for some time to come.
However in Juve, he has got a lot to learn from juve players, and the italian style of football playing.. Being a star in hamburg i find is not so difficult, being a star in juve, is being considered as one of the very top players in the world.
