Although the blog-gods did send me an email about it but I saw it after I saw the changes in the blog. So, a surprise for me, but entirely my own fault. The Ten Cate matter. I think the current situation at Ajax (apparently Ten Cate has a troubled relationship with Van Geel) and the fact that his contract won't be renewed probably helps. Ten Cate is a bit of an ego tripper and being able to say he worked at Barca, Ajax and Chelsea will influence his decision too. And the money at Chelsea is good too I s'pose. And, like Jol at the Spurs, Henkie might think he will be able to push Grant out at Chelsea. Oh, I am not saying Jol this that to the coach at Tottenham on purpose, by the way...
