Holland – Russia: match predictions

Sorry guys, I am a bit busy today, but I have got to do this. So, “kort door de bocht” this time.

Holland has as plusses: oozes confidence, top form, Robben/Robin fit, tight outfit and extra motivation for Boulah and Sabia, best players of the world

Holland minusses: the ball is round, over-confidence, bad luck, weaker in defense that in offense

Russia plusses: oozes confidence, on a high, Guus Hiddink, free-flowing football, physically fit

Russia minusses: over-confindence, naive, weaker defense than our offense :-) , sloppy finishing, choking

It could go anyway. No guarantees. Outside factors: the pitch, the ref and linesmen.
If Oranje concedes first, can they chase the game against the killer counters of Russia.
Is Oranje mentally already in the semis? Will Boulah’s loss put too much pressure on the team to perform well? Is Orange Angel going to be at the games and is it true that she only has one outfit and it starts to smell by now?

I say: Russia will make it very hard for our boys. Frustration kicks in. Ref will be on Russian side. The flow gets disrupted. It’s tight, it’s edgy, it’s tough…

But Holland will win. 87th minute. Ref blows for a foul. Sneijder gets the ball. Hasn’t scored from a set-piece yet and it’s in the stars that he will. Ball is unstoppable. So is Sneijder when he runs to Boulah…

Hiddink will leave the EC a hero. The fans chant for hours after the game. You never walk alone can never be enjoyed without our thoughts going back to this match and in particular Khalid and family.

Oranje moves to the semis.

What do you think?

Italian Stallion,
you know you will have to beat Spain first, don’t you? Don’t count your chickens just yet. It is not too smart. You didn’t look that good in two out of three games, and Spain beat Russia 4-1 remember? Suggest you focus on winning tomorrow before you start thinking about the final, which I think there is no chance in hell you will ever do. You are talking as much thrash as Mazeratti which is why no one outside of Italy like any Italian football players. Not a single one. No where. Everbody dislikes Italians. You are a prime example of that coming onto this blog shouting your fat Italian arse off. In fact, I am sure your mother doesn’t like you either.

I certainly believe Spain is a far better team than your old lot, and without Pirlo and Gattuso tomorrow, you can enjoy watching Russia and Germany in the final like the rest of us. Italians are scum!!!

Finnster, mammamia!!u r calling me a scum??we dont import african talent like u do!!what u ¨certainly believe¨¨doesnt make any sense because ¨¨u certainly believed¨¨that ur fluke team would go all the way..so how valid is ¨¨ur certain belief??¨¨

as Alexy is rightly pointing out, Holland is LUCKY to lose by only 3-1..7-1 would have been appropriate and fit result!!

Wow, awesome!
РОССИЯ – ЧЕМПИОН!
I was so proud even when Sweden was beaten, but such a tremendous victory in this match…in spite of lots of hope, it was still so unexpected. What amazing predictions can we make now?
Anyway, I am looking forward for a duel between Italy and Russia – you know we haven’t enjoyed such perfomances for decades.
From Russia with love and excitement :D
