Holland plays in the Away jersey

This is actually one of my favorite kits of the tournament.

I wish that the US would employ something similar, instead of the nondescript things we’re currently wearing. After all, Nike outfits both squads.

We’ve almost had something similar, and something that I liked very much (see here: http://www.ussoccer.com/sights/index.jsp_photoGallery-136-1.html).

Actually, if it weren’t for a really silly snake wrapped around a ball on the sleeve – and the fact that these jerseys looked..sweaty all night, then it would be my favorite all-time.

I agree, this is the most beutiful new kit in the tournament; much better than the shity white kit we wore when we lost to Potugal in euro’s. Everyone, seemed to be wearing the same nike kit with their team colors and the circle around the number in front. I always feel our kit should be unique, not the same design as others, just with our colors. It will look good in the big win today, but I will still wear oranje, as i imagine most of the crowd will! Portugal is considered the home team by whatever mystical formula FIFA uses to decide these things and will wear their usual maroon kits, which is a shame cos I’m looking forward to seeing Portugal take the field in their black away kits – though I hope for their sake it’s not during the heat of the early game.
