Ajax:
We have no depth. We sold(also lose players on Bosman) Rosenberg, Babel, Maxwell, Heitinga, Ibrahimovic, Grygera, Pienaar, Escude, Maduro, Vaart, Sneijder…. and what did we gain? i’ll tell you, we gain flops. Sno, Lindgren, Luque, Rommedahl, Oleguer, Kennedy B, Leonardo, Urzaiz… all crap/flops players.
Feyenoord:
They control the first half. Wijnaldum could of scored 1-2 goals, Makaay should of scored.
PSV:
they will win the league again.

Robben is out for 2 weeks and Sneijder is not fit. Beerens or Amrabat should of get a call.

Goose, the comment is gone. I am sorry!

The sad thing is I have come to realize the only good thing about Ajax nowadays is that it still is excellent to clean my bathroom mirror. And I’m a fan. Absolute disgrace how far that club has fallen.

@Goose, thank you very much for the Eresdivisie updates. I have no chance of watching any games here in the US so your help is greatly appreciated.

By the way, when was the last time Ajax and Feyenoord were both in the bottom half of the table? Has that happened before this far into the season? My guess is that it hasn’t.

In all honesty i have to say you are all beeing very VERY judgemental about Robben. So what if he misse two matches, fact is that the man has an awful negative reputation for having injuries, why criticise him, he can’t do anything about it. A fast technical dribbler always receives hard challenges, I think Arjen has already improved with his physical condition the past months. Have you ever had a hamstring injury, it’s very sudden, and very painful, it can be like a sudden stab in you’re leg, has nothing to do with beiing a pussy. It can happen to anyone. We should be more supportive towards such players instead of calling them losers, that isn’t going to make them recover quicker or perform better.
By the way Beerens is a long way from being ready for Oranje, far to inconsistent. Kuyt can play on the right, V.d.Vaart left, Afellay in front of , V.Bommel and De Jong midfield. Up front Huntelaar and V.Persie as a pair maybe?
for example:
V.Bommel-De Jong
Kuyt-V.d.Vaart-Babel
V.Persie-Huntelaar
or
V.Bommel-De Jong
Kuyt-Afellay-V.d.Vaart
V.Persie-Huntelaar
And about Ajax, Lindgren and Oleguer are useful players but are not going to lead Ajax. Ajax should invest even more in scouting, talents and their youth academy than they are doing at the moment. And V.Basten needs a leash. He blames his players for failing, while he brought some of them to Ajax and put them on the field himself. Bit of self reflection could be useful.

@Alex; why are we judgemental bout Robben??
1. he is and always was a little whiner, i remember Jans speaking to him about it when he was 17 .. he still dives, cries and whines
2. sure its not his fault but he IS a man of glass, cant remember him playing 5 games in a row, i have given up hope…some people are just not built to play pro sports

@Goose: Aren’t you a bit harsh now on Robben?… ’some people are just not built to play pro sports.’ It is just a minor injury, I understood; basically he has learned to listen to his body, I guess. Really, I don’t mind he’s injured for the oranje wcq-matches; personally I think Robben could himself severly hurt in the upcoming games if he plays on with an injurie; … physical (sp?) and though play by them Norwegians and those Islanders, I reckon, and Robben ends up in hospital; and Schuster would be pissed-off with van Marwijk…

@lowiesje; can you remember a time when Robben played 5 games in a row??

How about even 2 games in a row? Seems to be getting worse by the minute…

@goose: In all honesty; I have to dig(deeply)in my memory.

Lol. But eh… I thought it was Christiano Ronaldo…

@Goose: That is classic!! Outstanding! However I do agree with Lowiesje that it clearly has a more Ronaldoesque flavor to it than Robben since he gets up after falling over only to dive yet again. Funny as hell though.

shut the F up lowiesje, you know shit about football. ![]()

By the way, C.Ronaldo SUUUCKS, i you really wanna see a cry baby look at little Crissy, he actually cried twice, once after getting substituted with an injury in 2006, and once after getting knocked-out with Portugal 2004!!!!!! WTF, How gay is that, twice in a row. Now i think about it, he even cried after winning the CL. Pretty F*cked up.

Vennegoor of Hesselink is out too. Beginning to look thin on options upfront.

I am always a bit weary when I see swearing on the blog, followed up by a smiley… I mean, what does the smiley mean, really?
So, respect gentlemen, respect…
The big problem is similar to the biggest fun element of football:
EVERY BODY UNDERSTANDS FOOTBALL AND HAS AN OPINION THAT MATTERS

Man who cares if he cries, it just shows that he is passionate about the beautiful game. Everyone has a different way of showing dissapointment, If you’re going to hate a player because he cries you really know nothing about soccer, you’re just looking for an excuse to hate him. Great soccer players are not defined by how “manly” they are.
