Feyenoord keeps strugglin’
Feyenoord ended up on the 7th place, without a European ticket for next season. A disgrace. Feyenoord celebrates their 100 year Birthday next year without matches against Tottenham Hotspur, Celtic, Inter Milan or Real Madrid. Times have changed. The worst news however, is that Feyenoord’s B-team has been renegated to a lower division! That’s something that never happened before. The youth system at Feyenoord delivered talents like Ben Wijnstekers, Mario Been, Michel van de Korput, Robin van Persie, Gio van Bronckhorst, Leonardo, Tim Vincken, Joop Hiele, Wim Jansen, Salomon Kalou…the list is too long. Feyenoord B always played for the Championship, this year they’re out!
That could work Goose! Good plan… I think Been is an up an coming man and Willem can work wonders…

it was not my idea; heared Piet Visser the uberscout say it..he always has very intelligent comments when it comes to football..interesting guy.. and yes, Been is one of the coming managers and, other than the 88 guys’he has learned his trade with lesser teams and became a better manager because of it… vanHanegem is the one true icon of Feyenoord (much more than say Moulijn), hell bring in sponsors and hes the one that can play with the media like no other…time to sweep it all clean….

This’ll work better than Co. He is a fantastic manager but he wants it all to be like he sees it. So he’ll fire some coffee-lady in the players-home and all… It won’t work for Feyenoord. Co needs to work somewhere in Germany, I’d say. Been/Willem will work. Feyenoord doesn’t need the best tactical coach the world has to offer. Just a hands-on guy, who understands the club, who is resepected by the fans and indeed, with De Kromme there to play the media, the sponsors… It would work…

@Jan; heared a nice one: why not try Mario Been as headcoach with alongside him Willem vanHanegem?? Maybe Adriaanse is a bit too much for Feyenoord at this moment in time
very sad to see Feyenoord struggle like they do..dont like them at all but Feyenoord belongs to be alongside the great teams of Europe (esp. with the great fans they have)
