Ferguson Snubs Ruud Again

March 6th, 2006 | By: Matt | 6 Comments »

Wow. Still leading the Premier League in goals, still on the bench. Ferguson brought Ruud on as a sub in a lucky 2-1 win over Wigan.
I just don’t get it. Van Nistelrooy should request a transfer. There are certainly plenty of teams that would could use 20 goals a season.

This is more proof that Sir Alex has lost the plot. I wish Wigan had got the result just to stick it to Fergie.

So once more, where should Ruud go. I vote Newcastle. Owen and van Nistelrooy….brilliant. Any other suggestions.

Alex should be sacked next season. Ruud should be on starting.

I’m not too sure of that. Ruud can’t expect to play every single game. Saha deserved the start. Once Sir Alex has finished rebuilding United he’ll leave and Martin O’Neill will take over.

I’m not sure you can sack a Knight. I think only Newcastle does that.

I thinks Sir Alex’s opportunity to leave gracefully is closing. It’s hard to fire a legend, even if it is the right thing to do.

This Ruud situation is tricky. If Ruud is a part of United’s future, he needs to play.

Sometimes a good manager has to show loyalty to his key players even if they aren’t in top form.

Martin O’Neill sure would be interesting. Another Scotsman for the Red Devils.

Fergie has all the right to name his starting line-up for each game and not us the spectators and observers.
There is nothing we can do coz we don’t know what is happening in his team.

If RvN is to stay in the prem, then Spurs is the obvious move. Think Owen and Ruud would have the same problem as Kluivert and Ruud. Ruud is so good at his position the other striker (in a 442) needs to be a drop-deep type a-la Bergkamp or Rooney (or Keane?). BTW Martin O’Neill is Northern Irish.
