Dutch Eredivisie
Feyenoord took revenge for the horrible loss against Ajax versus De Graafschap. The Van Marwijk managed club won 1-3 after a 1-1 half time score.
Roy Makaay scored the equalizer after Schone scored for the hosts. Nicky Hofs scored twice in the second half.
PSV was lucky to come away with a 1-1 draw against Heerenveen. The last weeks, the Northern force was / is on fire and although Bakal scored in the first minute already, it was Heerenveen that played football. If it wasn’t for goalie Gomez, the excitement was back in the Dutch eredivisie. Bradley scored for Heerenveen, thanks to a Gerald Sibon assist.
Ajax’ manager Adrie Koster gave Edgar Davids the captain band back, even after Davids’ horrible red card last week. Ajax plays an away game against angstgegner Roda JC (who kicked PSV’s ass earlier in the season) today. If Ajax wins, they can close the gap to PSV with two points, as did Feyenoord.

Heerenveen is incredible! The gap between the top-flight and the rest of the Eredivisie seems to become thinner and thinner.
The important thing is that the European performances of Dutch Clubs won’t go down!

Yea, but their manager is going to leave after this season. I guess their management now regret their decision on not renewing his contract…

That’s right. That wasn’t smart.

They wanted him out when Heerenveen wasnt playing too good .. it surprised me cause Foppe was their manager for almost a hundred years!! why now quit after 4 seasons…its the same with Ernie Brands at NAC Breda, they made a discission to not renew his contract and they havent lost since!! hahaha.. think theyre 5th now!
vanGaal told press yesterday that religation is a real possibilty for Az…unbelievable how things can change in football..one year youre almost champion, next year NOTHING works!

I feel sad for AZ. During the disaster at NEC, many AZ fans were seen waving their hands… were they doing that to “wave Van Gaal goodbye”? Heehee ^^
