Romeo Castelen signs with HSV. From an Oranje perspective, Hamburg ought to be an interesting club to follow this year with 4 Oranje players(Vaart,Cast,Math,de Jong) and a Dutch coach(Huub Stevens – don’t know anything about him tho).

I think the dutch have many young talanted playing .. and i think that the dutch league can only benifit from this

yes, sell Drenthe, hes so hyped they should make use of that..last year he played only as left back so that he wasnt really standing out but he isnt that good (he has potential)

Utrecht is already out of the Inter Toto, think vanHanegem will have a tough year..he would be wiser to stay as a football analist

agreed Stephen; will be interesting; if Psv should lose Alex i think they will be in trouble

btw; Sneijder didnt choose to stay at Ajax..nobody wanted to pay that big money for him so he didnt have a choice! (little wanknig basterd) haha, sorry

@tjeerd; agree on Drenthe. Sell high.

I think this season has the potential to be just as exciting as the last. I don’t see a clear cut favorite amongst the big 4 (Ajax, Fey, AZ, PSV). It will be great to see them slugging it out until the end. It will also be good for the young Oranje players playing on these teams. The more competition the better. And to have potentially four contenders in the league instead of 2 maybe 3 is a huge boost to the Eredivisie.

Drenthe should play as left midfielder because that is where he shines.

Good article. A note on Drenthe,I saw him play last year and he did not stand out. He played well in the U-21, if Chelsea or Real want to buy him, sell him. You always sell a stock when its value is high. Its smart buisness.
