I remember Schuster as a very creative, almost non-German player. A bit lazy… He reminded me of Van Hanegem… The thing with him was that he didn’t play for Bayern Munich so in der Mannschaft he sort of wasn’t top of the hierarchie. And players like him need to be top dog, they can’t operate as sergeants… So his Mannschaft career was almost non-existent. He also was a bit of a playboy. Long hair, noce car, beautiful girls and being the artist on the pitch. Great player for Spain or Italy… He had a great career in Spain but wasn’t an easy player for his coaches….

Well Goose, I don´t know how is Drenthe but if he acts like that he will have trouble not only with Schuster, hopefully he matures fast if not he will have to suffer a lot to be a real star.

@goose: actually fernando torres proved that he is from far the best liverpool player. better than the overhyped stevie gerrard. babel was quite good. you’re right,drenthe should shut up and concentrate on training,and after this season go to a smaller club 8valencia for ex.). at themoment he’s overrated: last year he hasn’t done too much at feyenoord. the summer he was fantastic at the u21 – but it was the u21. at real he has not too many chance to play but he should train harder etc. schuster had the same character in his days – he left cologne at the age of 20,played 8 years for barca,2 for real,3 for atletico.

1. Dehaan was right. Drenthe needed to stay at Feyenoord
2. Goose is right, Feyenoord is laughing. Talk about selling high.
3. Drenthe needs playing time to develop. That may mean joining another club.

@marioR; ; well, it could be a personal dislike…thats not very hard to get when it comes to Drenthe…hes so f arrogant its unbelievable…hes probl. the most hyped player last year and Feyenoord built a whole team from that money..well done Feyenoord (and thats not easy for me to say)!
if he were good enough (on training) he would play, its very simple..
and i know very little about Schuster as a player (Jan?Ferenc?)but i do know he was very stubborn, think he didnt even wanna play for Der Mannschaft…(same as i would do! haha)

Drenthe should; 1. shut up 2. put down his i-pod 3. go to a smaller team 4. shut up 5. train hard 6. prove himself….well see after that
