I'm not very happy with Van Baasten either. I don't see him doing much imaginative. And do see him being incredibly stubborn. Oranje has been fairly lucky in lots of games - great players have bailed the team out. And I agree trying to squeeze players who train under different systems into a 4-3-3 wastes too much energy. If Oranje do well in 08 it will most certainly be in spite of Marco. The squad short comings you pointed out Jan can only be overcome by tactics and team play.
