C’mon Marco, give the kid a chance

I’m here-by going on record and saying that my faith in Marco Van Basten hinges on whether he gives Klaas-Jan Huntelaar a spot in the squad for the World Cup. I was a sceptic at first but after a little digging around at Youtube.com I’m a complete believer in the kid’s quality. This particular video did most of the convincing on its own. He scored 20 goals last year and has 34 in 35 appearances this year. I’ll even go so far to say that Robben should be a little bit worried if he’s not on top form when the tournament rolls around.

Besides, England shouldn’t be the only country around with a butt-ugly striker.

UPDATE Apparently Marco Van Basten anticipated my plea for Huntelaar and is prepared to give him his chance. Thank goodness

Huntelaar is only proven prospect as a finisher for the post Ruud era.
I am very pleased to hear from Basten “he should be given a chance”. Still Bastens’ comment not clear will he be there at least on the bench. Any more good news for Hunter?
Is he good at wings like Persie or Robben?
