too bad that dutch players seem to forget that their natural spanish destination is not this bastard real madrid but barcelona. i sympathize with drenthe but he made a bad decision. even barca’s bench worths more than beeing in the starting 11 in madrid. my problem with drenthe is that mentally he doesn’t seem too strong.

hope that sneijder will stay at ajax and that henk ten cate won’t let him go. ajax needs him.

i read that van der vaart might go to madrid too.

funny situation for me: as an ardent oranje fan i hope that all dutch players will be good at real,but as an ardent barca fan i hope that they will be successfull only in the national team.

I know everything about everything. When Sunderland gave numbers to their players today, van der Gouw got a number! Nr 17 to be exact and I think he will act as third or fourth choise keeper.

Yup yup Raimond van der Gouw… He’s not 40. He’s 44.

And 1) he came back in 2003, 2) I wouldnt say semi-retire. He played just about all league games last leason for AGOVV in Eerstedivisie.

never saw vanBeveren play…

never liked Menzo, he was a clown..i would never accept a goalie like that if i were a pro defender, he f up many times in Oranje too btw

deGoei; had a soft spot for him (he was famous for his uglyness but he was a good goalie (altough i repeat that he should have stopped that stupid Branco free-kick in WC94

vanBreukelen is my man… i like it when a goalie has a almost animal like attitude in goal..it makes the goal so much smaller if you know what i mean..like Oliver Kahn (he may look like a giant albino ape but hes a great, great goalie (or was)
remember vanBasten telling journalist that the whole team had to calm vanBreukelen down before the semis against the germans..he was ready to kill!!!

this mentality is what i miss in/with vanderSar..hes just so very grey..
