Another Louis van Gaal classic!
Well, we already had our fun with the idea of Louis van Gaal working in Germany ( Bin Ich so schlim oder bist du so dum?), but he did it already.
It actually happened a while back already, but I stumbled on the video clip and it’s classic Louis!!
I can’t help but laugh…
For the ones who hadn’t heard this… Luca Toni is injured for some friendly and doesn’t play. Another young gun is put on his spot.
After the game, some German Journo wants to poke in the fire by asking whether the fact that Toni didn’t play is a signal of Van Gaal being unhappy with the Italian striker.
The expression on Louis’ face is priceless. He then refuses to answer the question, mumbling on in the mic that “journalists need to prepare their questions” and “journalism is a craft” before the Bayern press manager decides to explain the situation. Louis interrupts the press manager by saying: “Don’t explain! This is something he needs to know!!”… And then leaves the press conference throwing killing looks to the particular journalist…. Classic stuff.
And when he walks off, the camera man is trembling, scared Van Gaal will have go at him too…
Oh, it’s slim pickin’s in the Eredivisie this season. Narky Jol, polite Rutten, positivo Been… Only Koeman can act aggressive – like Advocaat- but only when provoked. That’s not as much fun as Louis shooting from the hip at will…
Louis will win the title in Germany and will then move on to become the new German chancellor
And I found another one!! It’s in Dutch, sorry for that, but you’ll get the jist.
Kees Jansma is finishing off a night of CL semifinals. Louis van Gaal is with him in the studio and when Jansma announces the second leg broadcast for the week after, he mentions that Wim Kieft and Marc van Hintum will be the analysts of the night. That’s when Van Gaal realizes he won’t be asked back for those games. And with the camera running – it’s live tv – he challenges Jansma like a spoilt kid about his decision to not invite Van Gaal… Does it get any better than this???

Louis kills me… the second clip reminds me of when my parents would invite friends over for coffee and later in the dutch tradition would sit around and bicker with them. Awesome. Van Gaal is my hero.
