All eyes on Guus
Guus Hiiddink, one of the best coaches of the world!
Guus Hiddink, the man who said “no” to the English Football Association.
Guus, the man who made history with PSV, Holland, South Korea and Australia will play England tomorrow on Wembley.
And those quotes are not mine, they’re from the English press. They love him there in England. And they do in Russia. Abramovitsch, yep Mr Chelsea, is also the man who pays Guus. And for the England match, he promised to pay Guus 1,5 Million Euros if Russia beats England.
Guus and his assistant former Barca and Feyenoord star Igor Korneev have one point more than number 3 in their group, England.
England will miss Frank Lampard and Owen Hargreaves, while Gerrard is just declared fit after his toe-injury.
“It will be a tough match, but England can be had,” Hiddink said. “It will be an honor for me and my players to face this great football nation, but we will play for the three points.” Asked how he would play England, Hiddink said: “There’s only one ball in play. He who has the ball can score and he who doesn’t can’t score. I think we need to work with that aspect of the game,”
Hiddink is tipped by the English bookies to take over from Mourinho at Chelsea after the EC. Chances are, that Russia will be there. England will have to win tomorrow to have a chance on a ticket…
Yeh..I can’t watch the Holland game but really consider getting out of bed for this match… 5 am…ouch!

It will be a real shame if Guus Hiddinck goes to Chelski, a waste of a good manager. My prediction is that it will be tight game in the first half unless there is an early goal. The second half will be very open because England have to win. Should be an exciting game.
