I think there is a big difference in the level you can achieve in the Eresdivisie and in La Liga. Solidarity fees for Heerenveen (2 mio) and AGOVV (??). The remaining 7 or 8 will be paid in three tranches, based on Real Madrid qualifying for the CL and surviving the group stages. The influx of CL money will then be used to pay the remaining funds. If Real doesn't qualify, they don't have to pay. According to Blind, Real could have made those conditions a bit tighter (qualifying for quarter finals or semis) but they were very gentleman-like. Blablabla :-) The deal is this: 20 Mio straight up.
