And by the time a young player playing in, say the eredivisie, is good enough to score at a rate that will enable him to beat others in the EPL etc and win the golden boot, chances are he will already have been transfered to a team playing in the top four leagues. but all i can say is i hope ronaldo doesnt win it, because i know that if he does it will be because of goals he scored from the penalty spot after taking a dive in the box. instead, i hope either the Hunter or Adebayor wins it. i think that we’ll rarely see someone win the golden boot who is not playing in one of the big four european leagues because of the effect of the multiplier.
